How to Fish Giant Piranha: pistol, snacks, then dynamite

The Forest story boss is not a rod check. Sweep three ground leeches, get Modified Leech, then treat the fight as a resource loop: pistol the small piranha, eat them when hurt, sell them when healthy, dynamite when they stack.

Why pistol, not shotgun
  1. Forest shops unlock both. The shotgun dumps two shells and reloads.
  2. The boss keeps spawning small piranha. You need a gun that stays on target.
  3. Eat a dead minion to heal. If you are topped off, throw it to the shopkeeper for coins.
  4. Spend those coins on dynamite. Throw when the boss and the pack clump in phase two, then back off — the blast hits you too.

Leeches are still pickups

The 0/3 counter is grass and shoreline, not bites. Hand them to the lake NPC for Modified Leech, then cast. Killing the boss without the skeleton talk does not paint Desert on the Radar.

Stock dynamite or buy mid-fight

Pre-buying explosives is faster. Buying after you sell minions is safer if cash is tight. Either way, wait for the clump. A dynamite thrown at a lone boss wastes the blast radius.
