How to Fish dynamite: blast for food
The gear board on the first island already shows a dynamite bundle next to knuckles and a knife. Buy it when Forest sells it. Throw, back off, pick up what floats. Exploded fish are lunch and whale-bait material — not a 1.5x cook farm.

When to throw
- Forest shop. Walkthroughs list about $25. Light, throw (community Q), step back.
- Use it to stun a pocket of fish for food, or to gather any five bodies for the Volcano scientist’s Fish Bucket.
- Do not use it as your sell loop: blast kills cut the raw price, and you still have to cook for 1.5x.
- Story bosses: clumped Giant Piranha adds, early Pufferfish to grow the model. Not the Albatross.
