How to Fish grill: 1.5x, then pull

Cooking is a sell multiplier and a heal stack. Watch the value, pull at 1.5x, and keep Drip bodies for the slot machine instead of the fire.

WATCH THE HAND-OFF

Cook is a timer, not a dump.

In the trailer, look for the catch leaving the water and hitting a surface. That same physical hand-off is the grill: hold the body, press interact, watch the multiplier.

  • Pull at 1.5x.
  • Burnt fish lose the multiplier.
  • Drip goes to Reel of Fortune, not the grate.

How to cook
  1. Kill the catch, hold the body, stand at the grill, press interact (community stills show F / E depending on language pack).
  2. Watch the cook multiplier. Pull at 1.5x. Past that the value drops.
  3. Eat cooked fish to heal and fill hunger. Beer heals but drains hunger — pack food first.
  4. On Volcano, lava is a second oven: Chinese notes say it hits 1.5x and does not keep burning the body. Stock heals before you bait the whale.

Where the grill actually unlocks

Achievement text is Grillmaster / “Start the grill”. English walkthroughs light it with the Desert Blue Shark and the NPC beside the grate. One Chinese recap puts the grill after Giant Piranha — that island is Forest, so treat that line as a mix-up. If the grate is dark, finish the shark talk, then cook.

Co-op: one cook

The grill is shared. One player watches the multiplier so nobody else dumps a second body on a 1.5x fish. Rainbow / Drip names go to the island slot machine, not the fire.
