The Steam store still prints 1–4. Patch 1.0.4 opened 8-person halls and private invites. More bodies raise chaos and theoretical kill value. Two to four is the range Chinese notes actually recommend for a clean kite.

How to Fish co-op: one kites, the rest shoot
Chinese fight notes keep it simple: whoever the boss is chasing runs. Everyone else holds a lane and shoots. When the target flips, swap jobs immediately. Do not all dump dynamite at the same splash.

The trailer is the loop. In a lobby, one player should be on delivery/cook so the kiter is never also the merchant.

Default jobs
- Kiter: only move. No greed shots while you have aggro.
- Guns: stand in a safe lane and hold trigger. Peek doorways on Albatross.
- Mutated Bowhead: park a gunner on the crater rim with the assault rifle; the kiter keeps the whale in that lane.
- Cook / runner: grill 1.5x and sell. One person, not four bodies on one grate.
